Details
In the living room, kitchen and corridor, a strip of marble runs along the walls, framing a field of natural oak. This decorative device gives the interiors a sense of ceremony and dignity. We wanted to convey the formal mood of the style, so we focused on refined furniture and natural materials such as wood and marble.
For the hall we designed a special piece: a display cabinet for a collection of porcelain figurines, set into a dedicated niche. The doors are finished in black lacquer with brass inlays, and above the niche runs the Latin phrase “Dominus vobiscum”. This greeting welcomes guests and reflects the hospitable, open character of the interior.
Although the size of the rooms would have allowed a separate living room and kitchen, we opted for a single shared space, keeping it open and light.
