The apartment is in the historic centre of Moscow and is full of light and air, which our contemporary classic design brings to the fore. The project relies mainly on natural materials: marble, wood, plaster, silk and velvet. The interplay of different textures gives the interior a particular refinement.
The furniture was made to the studio's designs. We used veneers of fine woods, natural marble for the worktops and fittings, and antiqued mirrors. The upholstered furniture was also made to order, with a textile chosen specifically for each piece.
The defining room is, without doubt, the living room, with its many original design solutions. The walls are hung with natural wallpaper and the ceiling is finished in silver metal leaf. Sliding doors separate the kitchen from the living room while keeping the space visually whole. The interior plays light against dark, with touches of blue that make it feel fresh and welcoming.
