House 450 m²
Zavidovo
A two-storey 450 m² house in laminated timber with a terrace, in the village of Zavidovo, Konakovo district, Tver region.
The client came to us with a completed architectural design. Our task was to develop an interior in keeping with the exterior of the house and meeting the client's requirements.
Details
The ground floor holds the shared living areas, the first floor the private rooms. The very large living room was divided symmetrically into two zones. One of them, a double-height space, houses a fireplace faced in glazed tiles, the main feature of the room.
Laminated timber walls need no decoration, as they have a rich wood texture of their own.
The main emphasis in the interior was therefore on designing the furniture, doors and staircases.

Some elements of the interior were designed in the Arts and Crafts style.
